Mr. Roland Ewubare is the Group General Manager (GGM) of National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS), a Corporate Services Unit (CSU) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

Prior to his current roles, he was the Managing Director of IDSL from August 2015 - August 2017. Preceding his relocation to Nigeria in 2015 to undertake public service, he was the Founder and Executive Chairman of Madison Avenue and Resources Inc., an Atlanta, USA based private equity and investment management firm.

Mr. Ewubare previously held a senior executive level position in Schlumberger Limited. He served in in New York as Corporate Counsel and was responsible for the execution of a variety of strategic acquisitions, divestitures and debt financings. He also served as the Executive Director of the (Oilfield Services) of Schlumberger in Nigeria of 2003 - 2004.

From 2001 - 2003, Mr. Ewubare served as Secretary, General Counsel, and Chief Legal of NPTest Inc., a Silicon Valley based NASDAQ listed Semiconductor Company created from a divestiture by Schlumberger and subsequently acquired by Credence Systems Corporation for $600 Million.

Mr. Ewubare was previously a Corporate Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP (Skadden) in New York, whilst at Skadden, he was actively engaged in some of the most significant transactions in history for the world's largest corporation including the merger of Exxon Corporation and Mobil Corporation to create ExxonMobil in 1998 for consideration in excess of US$80 Billion. His deal list includes over 30 transactions with an aggregate deal value in excess of US$150 Billion. Mr. Ewubare has received recognition and citation in the New York Law Journal and in the America Lawyer Magazine as transaction counsel on high profile deals.

Mr. Ewubare graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Ife in 1987. He also obtained a Master of Laws Degree in International Business Law from the Queen Mary & Westfield College, the University of London in 1993 where he was a British Council Chevening Scholar.

He further obtained a Master of Laws Degree from Harvard Law School in 1998.
